It is all very well to have a holiday, but the consequences are LOADS and LOADS of washing!!! :) What niceties are you enjoying that bring consequences… Christmas Choccies with sugar-headaches? Christmas HAM with weight gain (Guilty as charged)… the list goes on!!! :)

Now I am home from camping, I am greatly appreciative of the comfort found in the depths of a decent mattress. I LOVE camping, but my mattress was pretty limp! Here’s to real beds, all around the world! :) Cheers Beds!

We walked the start of the Queen Charlotte Track during our holiday… a short one-hour in and one-hour back walk to Davies Bay from Anakiwa. It is a beautiful part of the world and it was fantastic to see Emily excited about getting out into the bush! She was adorable in her little backpack… A fantastic time with some fantastic photo opportunities… this was my favourite shot of the day!

These massive seagulls were after our fish – but seeing as we weren’t really getting any fish – they were unsuccessful!!! However, the seagulls were the winner on the day, cos they got all of our burley!
