#37/365 - An ideal getaway

Its a ‘double-entendre’ you see… Going to the Marlborough Sounds on holiday is an ideal getaway… but in this photo – Emily is getting away… hahahahaha… I have been away from civilisation for far too long now! :(

#36/365 - Always have to steal my fishes from you...

These massive seagulls were after our fish – but seeing as we weren’t really getting any fish – they were unsuccessful!!! However, the seagulls were the winner on the day, cos they got all of our burley!

#35/365 – Bleedin’ Satellites!!!

#35/365 - #$%$# Satellites!!!???

A lovely picture “ruined” by a satellite passing through – although in all reality, it is what makes the shot. As I had set up this picture, I saw the satellite go by, and I never thought it would show up so amazing!!! Very Cool!

#34/365 - View from a beer fridge

My Step-father stored the Booze in the creek next to our Tent this year – and this was the view of the creek that fed the little pool we put the crate in! :) We had to pop down every now and then cos it was SOOOOOO hot… nice to have a little scenic beauty to call upon whilst breaking one’s thirst! :)

#33/365 – A Stolen Kiss

#32/365 - A Stolen Kiss

a brief moment with SOOOO much meaning. If there is one thing that I appreciate in my wife above all other things – it is her UNENDING devotion to our family and particularly to our little darling! She is amazing my Missus (she will kill me for saying that!!!). Little moments like this make being a parent so awesome!!! Emily has been pretty tough at times and still doesn’t sleep through the night 100% of the time and Christine bears the brunt of it… This is my salute to fantastic women around the world! :) WOOOHOOOO to you!

#31/365 - He walks, he talks and all sorts of stuff...

Thanks to my fab whanau, Emily scored an Elmo on Christmas day – he does all sorts of cool stuff!

Going to the Sounds tomorrow – so will be offline for a few days… I will make sure that I keep shooting and will bulk post the results in a few weeks! :) Have fun! :)

#30/365 - Happiness is Whanau (Family)

Today was a fantastic day and SOOOO Kiwi Christmas!!! We had a great feed of Mum’s LEGENDARY Ham and some turkey with all the trimmings of course… and then went for a little walk down at the beach. It was such a lovely day today (and we AREN’T talking about the weather unfortunately). Mum outdid herself and we all feel the effects of a good feed. To our credit, there wasn’t much in the way of over-indulgence!

Merry Christmas – today is special – It’s about Jesus! In our songs, in our REASON why we give presents (even if we don’t remember) and in the warmth generated by those we love and care for! I hope you have had a fab day and God Bless! :)

#29 – Star of Wonder Star of Might…

#29/365 - Star of Wonder Star of Might... Star of Royal Beauty Bright... etc...

I am there – finally in to the Christmas Spirit – it must have been the smell of mum’s ham cooking, or the fact that in all reality, when I went shopping this afternoon, there wasn’t much activity all around town… But the tip of the iceberg for me was the lovely effort these people put in to their light display… it was honest and sweet… real people, celebrating in a REAL way! :)

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! :) May this season of celebration be filled with many fun memories and that you enjoy the company of those that love you! :)

Catch ya later Tomorrow!

#28/365 – Warming to Christmas

#28/365 - Warming to Christmas
I must admit, I am warming to Christmas a little bit… arriving at Mum’s place in Nelson and there is a beautiful tree with a nice feed to warm the cockles of your heart… I might just be all good to go come Thursday… I went to a fantastic church walk-through all about the real meaning of Christmas and it was very cool… the light displays were outstanding and the free lolly when I left was awesome! :)

We are going to Carols at the Church Steps in Nelson tomorrow and that will be sweet too… Maybe I am a late-bloomer with Christmas this year!?
