Why 33@50mm?

33@50mm is yet another Project365 project… My take on this is based around the fact that I am about to turn 33, and 33 was a pretty huge year in the life of Jesus. I have challenged myself to post ONE photo every day from November 26, 2008 for a total of 365 days… Pretty much documenting what goes on as I am 33.

I am hoping that over the course of the year I will be challenged in my photography, but more than that – challenged in the way that I approach life and all that it throws at me. I sincerely hope that connecting this year with my life of faith, will enhance many different parts of my life… I hope that you will check back often to see how things develop – and PLEASE leave some comments if anything touches or challenges you! :) I hope that this might be a resource that encourages you and I know that over the next year, this journey will be challenging, fun and hopefully a little bit meaningful! :)

I have decided as well that I will ONLY be posting photos taken with my new 50mm f1.8 lens – so the project will be from one consistent field of view! :)

Hey Al,

Just wanted to say your project sounds like an awesome idea, and i look forward to seeing the results! You have a real talent with photography – keep it up! It’s amazing how much a photo can say with no words…
